Out of the Past
Due to unforeseen circumstances,
Out of the Past will not be released in October. At this
point in time I am unsure of its new release date.

The first pre-release review!
I was anxious to read Glenda Poulter’s second novel, Out of the Past, and
was honored when Glenda asked me to read it and do a pre-release review. I
was not disappointed. The details in both character & settings (and in
this case historical bits) drew me into the story right away. The
nightmare that opens the story is interesting, and then Emma's reaction/
feeling after running her hands over the lady’s closet made my eyebrow go
right up (which, if you know me, is a really, really good sign) and I
wanted to find out what was going on and what it all meant. Just as in her
first novel, Glenda created excellent supporting characters that I fell in
love with (Lesley, Peter and Beau *heart*). I wanted to follow them around
like a puppy. BUT they did not overshadow Emma and what she was going
through. Everything had balance. I get the feeling Glenda really loves
Charleston and what she wrote came from that and not just research.

Oh goody, another Glenda Poulter book! I
finally got Welcome Home and it's my favorite lesbian fiction. Not
because she's my online friend, but because it's the best written, with a
plot that made it hard to put down, as I can see Out of the Past will be
too.

OK, I am loving this book! Lesbian fiction
or not, the general story line is right up my alley. Past life experiences
are fascinating. Funny how a couple hundred words can grab you and reel
you in. It is definitely on my wish list.
